Technical description
The RM-GT40 acts as a field communication bridge between underground devices and the central monitoring environment. In a typical deployment, gateways are positioned around gallery transition points, personnel tracking areas, equipment movement zones, and backbone connection points.
RadarMiner gateway planning treats field data collection, cabled or wireless backhaul, and control room visibility as one connected infrastructure layer. Each gateway point is selected according to gallery layout, device density, and the available communication backbone.
The current published technical values describe the field enclosure and confirmed system role: IP67 housing, ABS/PC material, -20 C / +60 C operating temperature, MQTT-based field data transfer, and gateway health tracking through the monitoring stack.
